How to Accept the Lord Jesus Christ
into your life. And to keep him
in control of your life.
A lesson from sweet Holy Spirit to my son on 11-21-24.

So, the Holy Spirit has laid this upon my heart and mind. To share with you how to do this and how easy it is to do so. I will be using the CEB translation for this lesson. So, if you are reading this it means that Father God is working with you to get you to come and accept his son Jesus Christ as your Lord. It is important to specify Jesus Christ when you do this. You Honor Father God in Heaven when you do this by giving him Glory in his son's name. If you don't specify who you are referring to when you say Jesus, it literally can be anyone on earth. There are many other people called Jesus in this world all throughout history. Also repenting of your sins is something that needs to be done not just once but every time we slip and do something wrong.
No one is perfect except Lord Jesus Christ, but we have the Holy Spirit to help. He will convict you when you do something wrong so that you know to repent for it. It's a walk and you have to learn to crawl before you walk. When you mature you will make fewer mistakes. You must understand this is a choice as well. It's not Love if it's not a choice. You can't be forced into making this decision and not meaning it from the heart. God the Father reads all hearts and minds and knows who is real and who is fake. How you know someone is for real is by their fruits. The fruits are the changes that God has changed in your life that people would be able to notice differently about you. Let's gather some scriptures on this to see the promise given to us and that's eternal life. So, the very first Scripture that we will look at is John 6:44 drawing of the Father.
Drawing of the God the Father

John 6:44
44. No one can come to me unless they are drawn to me by the Father who sent me, and I will raise them up at the last day.

This is why I said if you're reading this most likely this is Father God’s call for you to accept his son Jesus Christ as your Lord. And if you're just reading this and already have accepted his son it may be that you are supposed to share this with someone else. But now it's time to see how you accept Jesus Christ as you Lord and we will be looking at the book Romans 10:9

Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord

Romans 10:9
9. Because if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and in your heart you have faith that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
It's literally that easy my friends. Simply confessing that “Jesus Christ is your Lord” and believing in his death and resurrection. It's that simple but I do want you to understand why I said Jesus Christ is my Lord and not Jesus. Simply because when you say Christ you are honoring God the Father through his Son giving them both Glory and that it points to him and him alone. There are others in the Bible named Jesus which is why it's important to determine who that is. Even the disciples acknowledge who Christ is. And here is the Scriptures for both of these points starting with honoring God the Father and glorifying him. Which is Matthew 16:16 and Philippians 2:11. And then I’ll show in scripture others named Jesus which is in Colossians 4:11 and Matthew 27:16.

Who is Christ the Son of God

Matthew 16:16
16. Simon Peter said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Glorifying God the Father When you confess this

Philippians 2:11
11. And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Examples of others name Jesus

Colossians 4:11
11. Jesus, called Justus, also says hello. These are my only fellow workers for God’s kingdom who are Jewish converts. They have been an encouragement to me.

Matthew 27:16
16. At that time there was a well-known prisoner named Jesus Barabbas.
Next we need to repent. Repent means to turn away from. And that means change your hearts and lives. It's pointless to live life and keep sinning like your changing underwear. I'm not saying you won’t sin but doing it knowingly and continuing to do so without repenting means you're not changed or even trying to. You receive the Holy Spirit known as the Comforter/Companion when you accept Jesus as your Lord. And when you're in the wrong you make the Holy Spirit upset and he will lead you to repentance. You're not a hypocrite when you sin and repent, how else do we learn? When you acknowledge and repent for your wrong doings you show fruit that you are changing and making the effort and people pick up on that. That's why scripture tells you to show the production of good fruits. What are good fruits and being obedient? When you do this you grow making the mistakes less in your maturity. Let's back this up with some scripture. First we look at repentance and why it's important to acknowledge it and do it. Go to the book of Acts 3:19 then the book of Proverbs 28:13. And then the practice of sinning and not changing in the book of 1 John 3:4 and verse 8. Then we will look at receiving the Holy Spirit and him comforting us in John 14:16-17 and verse 26. Then the Holy Spirit convicting us of sin in John 16:7-8. And then we will look at showing fruit in the book Matthew 7:16-20, what the fruits of the spirit are in Galatians 5:22-23, being obedient 1 Peter 1:14-16 and finally becoming spiritually mature in Ephesians 4:13-15.

The call of Repenting to change your Heart and lives

Acts 3:19
19 Change your hearts and lives! Turn back to God so that your sins may be wiped away.
Importance of repentance (Mercy)

Proverbs 28:13
13. Those who hide their sins won’t succeed, but those who confess and give them up will receive mercy.

Why you don't keep sinning

1 John 3:4
4. Every person who practices sin commits an act of rebellion, and sin is rebellion.

1 John 3:8
8. The person who practices sin belongs to the devil, because the devil has been sinning since the beginning. God’s Son appeared for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil.

The receiving of the Comforter/Companion (Holy Spirit)

John 14 :16-17 & 26
16. I will ask the Father, and he will send another Companion,[a] who will be with you forever.
17. This Companion is the Spirit of Truth, whom the world can’t receive because it neither sees him nor recognizes him. You know him, because he lives with you and will be with you.

26. The Companion, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I told you.

The Holy Spirit Convicting us of Sins

John 16:7-8
7. I assure you that it is better for you that I go away. If I don’t go away, the Companion won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
8.When he comes, he will show the world it was wrong about sin, righteousness, and judgment.

The production of fruit in your life

Matthew 7:16-20
16. You will know them by their fruit. Do people get bunches of grapes from thorny weeds, or do they get figs from thistles?
17. In the same way, every good tree produces good fruit, and every rotten tree produces bad fruit.
18. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit. And a rotten tree can’t produce good fruit.
19. Every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire.
20. Therefore, you will know them by their fruit.

What are the good fruits that are being shown in
that people see in you that is mentioned

Galatians 5:22-23
22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23. gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against things like this.

Being obedient as well

1 Peter 1:14-16
14. Don’t be conformed to your former desires, those that shaped you when you were ignorant. But, as obedient children,
15. you must be holy in every aspect of your lives, just as the one who called you is holy.
16.It is written, You will be holy, because I am holy

Becoming spiritually mature by doing all this sinning less

Ephesians 4:13-16
13. until we all reach the unity of faith and knowledge of God’s Son. God’s goal is for us to become mature adults—to be fully grown, measured by the standard of the fullness of Christ.
14. As a result, we aren’t supposed to be infants any longer who can be tossed and blown around by every wind that comes from teaching with deceitful scheming and the tricks people play to deliberately mislead others.
15. Instead, by speaking the truth with love, let’s grow in every way into Christ,
16. who is the head. The whole body grows from him, as it is joined and held together by all the supporting ligaments. The body makes itself grow in that it builds itself up with love as each one does its part.

God is the reader of our hearts he knows the real intention behind everything we do so keep that in mind too. He does not force anyone to love him or accept Jesus Christ; he gives you the choice. Here is some more scripture to back this up as well. Here is scripture on God searching your hearts Romans 8:26-27 and here is the one for giving us the choice to love him or not with the promise of eternal life John 3:16-18
God reader of all hearts and mind

Romans 8:26-27
26. In the same way, the Spirit comes to help our weakness. We don’t know what we should pray, but the Spirit himself pleads our case with unexpressed groans.
27. The one who searches hearts knows how the Spirit thinks, because he pleads for the saints, consistent with God’s will

The choice to Love him and accept his son Jesus Christ
John 3:16-18
16. God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him won’t perish but will have eternal life.
17. God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
18. Whoever believes in him isn’t judged; whoever doesn’t believe in him is already judged, because they don’t believe in the name of God’s only Son.

This is everything the Holy Spirit has led me to say. I hope this sheds light on a lot for you. And that I am praying for your Salvation and your Righteousness and that this reaches every person that it is intended to reach. God bless you in the Name of my Lord Jesus Christ.
So, you want to call someone a false prophet! Are you 100% sure?
You had better be!

Please pray about all this information without a preconceived, made-up mind in Jesus Christ’s name I pray and ask. Try/Test the spirits and line this word up by the Word of God. (1 John 4:1-3; 13-15; 1 Thessalonians 5:21 & 1 Corinthians 12:3)
Let’s talk about these key verses which cause so many people to sling stones at their brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus intending to kill or maim them.
Deuteronomy 18:21-22
21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken?
22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
*** Note: God didn’t set a time limit when a word has to come to pass. ****
How many people have been called false prophets or called someone else a false prophet because a word, dream, or vision didn’t come to pass as originally given or as one assumed it would? You don’t have to answer that. God already knows who has and who hasn’t. It would be best if one keeps their mouth shut before slinging railing accusations at one of God’s little ones until you seek fully for His truth in these matters.
Do you realize that the prophetic word given to Hezekiah was an unconditional prophecy through Isaiah at the time it was given? Get your house in order, Hezekiah. This sickness is unto death... no "ifs'' to this one! But because God is merciful and full of love and the fact that He is God, if he so chooses, he can change his heart at any given moment of time. Oh, and by the way… He did in this instance. One can see proof of this when He gave Hezekiah 15 more additional years. (2 Kings 20) He created and controls all time. He’s God!
Here's my point. This is what God has been showing me and I feel led to share. Why did God distinguish to Moses in Deuteronomy 18:22, the "If the thing follow not" and "come to pass” when most people assume they generally mean the same thing? One should never assume anything. Especially not when Jehovah God is involved. His ways are too high for us. (Isaiah 55:8-9)
Here are the definitions for these words:
Follow means to: go or come after (a person or thing proceeding ahead); move or travel behind.
To come to pass means: often indicates that what is happening is the result of a course of events.
Why is this important?
When Isaiah gave the prophetic word to Hezekiah that he was going to die, his death was foretold. Pronounced by Isaiah the prophet by God for him to deliver which he did. He gave the prophetic Word. It was a true word from Jehovah God in Heaven. At this moment in time, He had not allowed his compassion and mercy for Hezekiah's prayers to change his heart because He being God knew already what was best for all involved. (Romans 8:28)
But Hezekiah after hearing from Isaiah the prophet he wouldn’t be healed cried out even more unto God who was moved in His heart with compassion and love for his child King Hezekiah. A new word came forth. There was a change in God’s heart toward Hezekiah’s circumstances. The first given word from God given through Isaiah had now been changed to something that is different, yet still foretells the same end results. King Hezekiah shall still die but now at a later time.
But God is still God. God can’t lie. (Numbers 23:19; Titus 1:2; Hebrews 6:18) He can’t change. (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8; James 1:7; Revelation 1:8) But here we now see prophetic words are not always as cut and dry as people demand them to be or as they “assume” they should be.
This changing of God’s heart and not His mind, toward Hezekiah shows His great love for His Child Hezekiah. He was still appointed to die, but now it would be 15 years later.
The word God gave Isaiah was still true. “Hezekiah, you’re going to die,” but the circumstances and timing surrounding it had now been altered. Even though God knew the end results beforehand of what this would cost Judah and Israel. They would become divided after his son Manasseh was born then ruled in his stead. God still granted him the additional years out of love.
I wanted to point out the fact that this given word by God didn’t transpire as it first came forth. This doesn't make it a false word. It means we do not fully understand the magnitude of God’s ways and His unconditional love for us. Did this make Isaiah a false prophet? He had given a word that changed. No, no it did not. Actually, the first word foretelling he was to die did come to pass when Hezekiah passed away 15 years later when his allotted time was up.
I asked God about this after hearing these accusations hurled my way time and time again. It used to bother me, but not anymore. I know to whom I belong…Jesus Christ. I am “great” in this knowledge. He in His love replied to me. He said this: If I being God can change My own prophetic word given… from it following and happening at one time, for it to come to pass at a latter time, then what is it to man if I choose to do so again? For I am God? (Ecclesiastes 1:9; 3:15)
So, there you go. He’s God and we’re not.
If someone steps out and speaks words of untruth in Father God or Jesus Christ’s Name with this lie/word and such like not given to them by God or His Son Jesus Christ, then they would rightly earn the title of false prophet. Please make sure that enough time has passed and/or you have sought God earnestly in Jesus Christ’s Name for the truth of the matter. You’ve tested and tried the word (Or whatever was given). You lined it up also with the Word of God by studying and praying in Jesus Christ’s Name to know if this was or wasn’t a real word, dream, or vision sent from Him.
If a prophetic word has not occurred yet, it may very well be because there has been some form of change or isn’t time yet for it to occur. If it is a change and it’s a true word given then it has been God Almighty who has changed it. It can be dates, circumstances, people and/or foretold events. If this is the case then at some point the truth will be revealed.
If you called this person who delivered the message from God a false prophet and they are not, then realize this. You have just attacked God’s anointed (Those who have accepted Jesus Christ) in addition to one of His prophets. That is a very dangerous thing to do for anyone according to the Holy Word of God,.. ( Psalms 105:15; Matthew 18:5-7; Mark 9:41-43; Luke 17:1-3; Matthew 18:10)
Father God does not take too kindly to anyone messing with His little children.
True words, dreams, and visions given to someone from Father God or Jesus Christ His Son that are spoken in their Name may not always come to pass as we understand or assume they should. God’s timing is different from ours. It just might be that it has not come to pass yet on God’s time clock, but it will at some time if it’s truly from Heaven and not a false word, dream, or vision. Or He’s stepped in and altered the “how” or “when” it is to occur as He has done before in the written Word of God.
So, in a nutshell, here is what I have learned. Just because a word, dream, or vision doesn’t occur or come to pass when we “supposed” or “assumed” it should, doesn’t mean it’s a false word. It could be a prophetic word in waiting or even a word that God has changed Himself. Take it to Jesus Christ in prayer earnestly seeking His truth and you might be surprised by His response…if you will take time to listen to our totally amazing God of love. After all, why take a chance on incurring God’s wrath upon you or even a curse? All because you picked on your own brother and sister in Jesus Christ when you didn’t take time to seek His truth in this matter and you opened your own mouth in evil accusations. I’m just saying…….
Other related verses of God’s prophetic words being changed by Him.
Amos 7; Jonah 3; Genesis 18:16-33; 1 Chronicles 21:15; Jeremiah 21:18-19; Deuteronomy 13:1-10
Verses about false prophets whose actions lead you from God.
(You are to watch the fruit and try the spirits of all. A true prophet will not lead you away from
Jesus Christ and Father God.)
Deuteronomy 18:17-22 (Warning about not following a true prophet of God’s words and other warning about speaking in God’s Name when not called or in other god’s names. Or even speaking presumptuously in His Name.)
Remember not all prophecies happen immediately when spoken. Most do not and God can change anything He so chooses whether we like it or not. I say again, “He is God, and we are not!” You will know them by their fruit. (Matthew 7:16-20)
Learn to test, prove all things, and try the spirts in Jesus Christ’s Name. Read and listen to the Word of God so you will know when what’s being spoken is His truth or not. Protect yourself with the weapons He has provided for us. Do not forget though, if you judge someone harshly, you will receive the same harsh judgment from Father God’s hands. So make sure you are 100%
sure that someone is a false prophet before you speak and then make sure it is the sweet Holy
Spirit leading you and not your own flesh wanting to do so.
God bless.
Stay under the Blood of Jesus Christ always.
